About the Role:
This is a newly established leadership role created following the company's continued growth. The Finance Manager will take ownership of the full finance function for one of the company's entities, with significant visibility and autonomy over the entity's financial operations. You would oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, cash flow, taxation, compliance, and financial controls, while leading a local finance team and collaborating with senior finance leadership and international stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
· Own all financial activities of the entity, including Revenue,
Receivables, Payables, Cash/Banking, General Ledger, Payments, Cash Flow Management, Taxation, and Financial Reporting
· Be responsible for overall AP Process, ensuring accurate invoice processing, recording and timely payments in line with company policies and payment terms.
· Manage credit control processes and proactively oversee debtor management to mitigate credit risk and ensure timely collections
· Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with corporate reporting requirements.
· Ensure compliance with IFRS principles, financial policies, and local statutory requirements (including VAT and corporate tax obligations)
· Liaise with external and internal auditors and ensure timely remediation of audit findings
· Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems and automation initiatives in coordination with Finance.
