Role Description
The Barista role at Pizzando Grigliando is a full-time, on-site position based in Milan. The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso-based drinks, and other beverages, while ensuring consistent quality and presentation. Daily tasks include taking customer orders, processing payments, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and supporting food preparation as needed. The role involves engaging with guests, answering questions about the menu,
and providing attentive customer service. The Barista also assists with restocking supplies, following health and safety guidelines, and collaborating with the team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service, interpersonal skills, and the ability to create a positive guest experience
- Barista skills, including drink preparation, coffee machine operation, and basic food preparation
- Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
- Fluency in Italian is required; basic English language skills are an advantage
