Are you passionate about professional lighting and would you like to turn that passion into a profession? This internship is designed as a first step towards the Product Specialist role, even without previous experience: a path to learn how to follow products from concept to development, all the way to promotion and use in the field. Music & Lights designs, manufactures and distributes professional lighting solutions for the Film & TV, Live Events, Theatre and Architectural markets, used in more than 70 countries. You will join the product engineering area, in an international environment, with continuous training and the support of experienced colleagues.

About the role
You will take part in a 6-month training path at our HQ in Minturno (LT), with a dedicated tutor and an individual training plan, designed to grow gradually towards the Product Specialist role. You will work alongside the product team on defining specifications, testing and debugging firmware, software and user interfaces,
and gathering feedback from customers and the sales network to report back to R&D.; As the path progresses you will also be involved in demonstration activities alongside the team, at customers and suppliers and at industry trade shows and events.
Key responsibilities
- Work alongside the team on defining and reviewing functional requirements and SoW (Statement of Work), learning to read technical specifications, menu architecture and DMX control.
- Take part in testing and debugging firmware, software, user interfaces and control menus, contributing to the technical reports on the results.
- Contribute to comparison tests between Music & Lights products and those of competitors, learning to document strengths and areas for improvement.
- Support the collection and analysis of feedback from customers and the sales network and its reporting to R&D; for future product development.
