Job Title: Logistics Lead Engineer
Location: Mantova
Type: Permanent role, full-time
Compensation Package: CCNL Industria Alimentare, Quadro, Gross Annual Base Salary €63.000,00.
Position Summary
Ensure the successful design, planning, implementation, installation, testing, start‑up, ramp up and handover of major capital investment projects on the manufacturing site, following safety standards, projects charters, design specifications, ways of working & success criteria.
Duties
Logistics Automation Oversight: Provide expert technical assistance during the execution, commissioning, and operation of automated warehouse systems, ensuring seamless integration with manufacturing and alignment with quality standards.
Meet quality expectations. In the event of a quality problem, rectify it and inform the responsible manager and involve him/her in the rectification of the problem with immediate actions.
Carry out all duties in strict compliance with Product Safety, Environmental Management, Occupational Health, and Safety documents, with a specific focus on equipment safety.




Drive operational efficiency by applying Lean engineering principles to eliminate waste and optimize material flow within automated systems.
Carry out the duties specified for the post holder in the Product Safety, Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety and Quality Management System documents.
Actively oversee and manage project budget, tracking expenditures to ensure major capital automation projects are delivered cost‑effectively.
Agile Problem Solving: Thrive in a fast‑paced environment by thinking outside the box to immediately troubleshoot, rectify, and escalates any technical or operational bottlenecks affecting the project.
Give coaching and/or instructions to staff on any subject, considering the relevant Nestlé Safety Standard and rules. Promote a respectful, inclusive, cooperative and healthy work environment along cross‑functional teams.
