Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators), therefore have Space to Connect, Secure & Defend, Observe & Protect, Explore, Travel & Navigate.We are looking for a Senior Power Subsystem Engineer andas Power Subsystem Engineer of space system the main activities are:Analyze the Power requirements applicable at system level, deriving the lower level requirements and prepare relevant unit or S/S specificationDefine power system architecture from received requirementsDefine power interfaces among power items and vs. power usersPerform analysis on power sources (e.g. solar array, battery, fuel cell, etc.) and power interfaces for both sizing and performance evaluationDefine performance,



interface and test requirements for the power system and power sourcesSpecify and review technical documentation as Subsystem/Unit technical specification, Technical Notes/Analysis, Test Specification and reportManage and/or participate to technical meetings with subcontractor and/or clients.Educational: Degree in Electronics or equivalent.Job ExperiencesExperience in power electronic system or power unit designStrong knowledge of energy production with solar panelsCapability of power analysis and circuits simulationSW knowledgeMS Office package (Word, Excel, Access)Knowledge to use and SW tools like Matlab/Simulink, MathCad, Visual Basic, Spice.LanguagesEnglish (mandatory)French (optional)OthersAvailability to medium business trip in Italy or abroad.With Thales Alenia Space employing around 8,900 employees in 10 countries with 17 sites in Europe and a plant in the US, our mobility policy enables empl
