Position Details

The City of Genoa, IL (Pop. 5,300) is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer.

We are specifically looking for career-oriented individuals with a high level of self-motivation,



excellent communications skills, commitment to community service and strong sense of duty.

All applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to apply:
- At least 21 years of age, not to exceed the age of 35, at time of application
- U.S. Citizen
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Possess a valid driver's license with good driving record
