The Role
We are looking for a
Senior AI/ML Engineer
to provide technical leadership across AI and data initiatives. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who can take ambiguous AI/ML problems, understand the technical challenges, shape practical solutions and break them down into executable engineering work.
You'll work closely with engineers, data scientists, product, domain experts, Delivery and Architecture to turn ideas into technically sound, production-ready solutions. You'll help teams make difficult technical decisions,
identify risks and unknowns early, and provide the technical direction needed to move complex initiatives forward. Success in this role means helping teams make better technical decisions, reducing uncertainty early and improving the quality and predictability of engineering execution.
This is a hybrid permanent role, with 3 days on-site and 2 days working from home.

You'll
Work On
You'll help build AI and data products used in energy environments, including:
- Predictive maintenance for critical infrastructure
- Anomaly detection on industrial sensor data
- Asset monitoring and operational intelligence
- Energy forecasting and time-series modelling
- Production ML systems operating on large-scale multimodal datasets
These are difficult real-world problems involving noisy and incomplete sensor data, sparse labels, large-scale time-series datasets and evolving operational requirements.
