Industrial and Process Engineering Specialist

Exyte Italy is looking for an experienced Process Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Agrate Brianza office. In this permanent position, you will become part of our Engineering Process Supply Department , supporting a variety of cutting-edge projects in the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries.
You will play a central role in the design, development, and field execution of industrial water treatment systems (WWT and UPW), ensuring technical excellence from engineering through to on-site installation and commissioning.
Develop engineering designs for industrial water treatment plants in line with SEMI, ASME and GMP standards, as well as national and local regulations
Prepare engineering documentation including layouts, PFDs, P&IDs;, mass and energy balances, technical specifications, datasheets, equipment lists, material take-offs and tender documentation
Conduct technical bid evaluations and support procurement processes
Follow up with vendors during equipment fabrication, delivery and erection phases
Participate in intra- and interdisciplinary design review meetings




Support site activities such as field installation checks, preparation of checklists and punch lists, and documentation for pre-commissioning and commissioning
Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, company procedures and technical specifications
Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
~3–5 years of experience in the design and construction of industrial water treatment plants (WWT and UPW)
~ Knowledge of UHP gas and chemical distribution systems, clean utilities and pharma processes is considered a strong plus
~ Familiarity with SEMI standards, GMP requirements, ultrapure water technologies and industrial wastewater treatment processes
~ Strong understanding of process control, P&ID; standards, ISA symbology, piping and valve classes for UPW, UHP gases, chemicals and clean utilities
~ Experience in instrumentation & controls, sequences of operation and commission
