Software Sales Associate (Remote) | U.S. Time Zone

Do you love talking to customers, understanding what they need, and closing deals?
Iron Software is looking for a proactive Software Sales Associate who is confident on the phone and comfortable leading sales conversations.
This is not an email-based sales role. While written follow-up is part of the job, your success will come primarily from making calls, including outbound calls, speaking directly with prospects, asking the right questions, and moving opportunities forward through real conversations.
You will use a consultative sales approach. Rather than simply pitching a product, you will learn about the customer’s use case, technical requirements, team structure, current challenges, and buying priorities. You will then help pair them with the Iron Software product and license that best fits their needs.
You will work closely with a Sales Engineer who can join meetings, answer technical questions, demonstrate products, and help present solutions to customers.





What You’ll Be Doing
Making 50+ calls per day, including outbound prospecting calls and follow-up calls.
Proactively finding and contacting potential customers rather than relying only on inbound leads.
Researching target companies and identifying relevant technical and business decision-makers.
Using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator to build prospect lists and find new opportunities.
Calling potential customers to introduce Iron Software, understand their needs, and qualify opportunities.
Leading consultative discovery conversations to understand the customer’s use case, challenges, technical environment, team size, deployment needs, and buying process.
Helping customers identify the right product, license, and solution for their requirements.
Handling inbound leads and calling them promptly to understand what they are trying to achieve.
