Sveaverken is looking for a Field Application Engineer based in Italy to support our smart agricultural equipment and precision farming solutions, including tractor guidance, auto-steering, GNSS/RTK-based systems, and related digital farming technologies.
In this role, you will act as the key technical interface between Sveaverken, customers, dealers, and internal sales/product teams. You will provide on-site and remote technical support, assist with product installation and configuration, conduct troubleshooting, deliver product demonstrations and training, and support successful product adoption across the Italian market and other european markets.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for smart agricultural equipment, tractor guidance, auto-steering, and precision farming solutions.
- Support product installation, configuration, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct customer visits, field demonstrations, and dealer/customer training across Italy.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
- Collect field feedback and communicate technical issues or product improvement suggestions to internal teams.
- Support new product launches, field testing, and technical documentation for the Italian market.
Requirements
- Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in field application engineering, technical support, field service, product support, or customer-facing technical roles.
- Experience with agricultural machinery, precision farming, GNSS/RTK, tractor guidance, auto-steering, ISOBUS, CAN bus, sensors, or vehicle electronics is highly preferred.
