Purpose of the position: As Railway and Road Alignment Engineer, you will respond to the Railway and Road Alignment Leader and be part of the Sustainable Infrastructures business line. You will be part of the team dedicated to the design of the linear infrastructures as Railway, Highway and Subway.
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
- Design of road and railway alignments, including compliance checks with applicable regulations (also international);
- Design of road pavements and railway track systems;
- Design of infrastructure systems (cost–vantaggi analysis, line capacity studies and node analysis);
- Principles of road hydraulics and Topography;
- BIM modeling of the infrastructure and Quantity calculations;
- Definition of discipline activity lists and coordination of activities in accordance with the project schedule;
- Review and verification of designs produced by third parties and Technical assistance for issues arising on construction sites.
Education: Master’s Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Civil Engineering with a specialization in Infrastructure and Transportation, with specific experience in infrastructure design and a broad understanding of the disciplines involved in the project;
Experience : +5 years in linear infrastructures design/works;
Languages: Full professional proficiency, both written and spoken, in English;
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of alignment desi
