The Opportunity
Our infrastructure team provides a range of design services on projects in both the public and private sectors. We work very closely with other Arup teams as part of Arup-wide multi-disciplinary teams across the World.
We deliver projects primarily in the Science, Industry and Technology, Property, Healthcare, Social Infrastructure and Sport sectors.
The team works principally in a BIM focused environment, constructing civil engineering designs in Civil 3D and Revit for coordination and connection with each discipline team in a collaborative common data environment (CDE). We deploy green infrastructure (GI) and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) designs to the maximum extent possible on our projects.
At Arup, we combine the various core civil engineering aspects of a project and combine these into a single business offering for our clients,
which is delivered by our dedicated Civil Engineering Team.
As a Senior Site Development Engineer at Arup, you will:
- Lead the design and delivery of the site infrastructures of technically demanding projects in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Act as project lead in managing the service and in having a direct interface with the clients’ teams.
- Liaise with clients from feasibility to completion to assist in setting and delivering the design ambitions.
- Assist in the definition of site surveys and testing necessary to acquire site specific data for the design.
- Develop the site infrastructure design through the design stages and the permitting and procurement process.
- Manage the supervision of the civil construction works as part of the clerk of works team.
