Construction Manager (Data Centres)

Role Overview

We are supporting a leading global data centre developer in the appointment of a Construction Manager to deliver hyperscale data centre projects across EMEA. Working closely with the Construction Director, you will oversee day-to-day construction activities, manage contractors and consultants, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day delivery of hyperscale data centre construction projects.
- Coordinate General Contractors, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor programme, budget, quality, safety, and project risks.
- Ensure construction activities are delivered in line with design intent, technical specifications, and project milestones.
- Support procurement, contractor management, and change control processes.
- Work closely with Development, Design, Engineering, Commissioning,



and Operations teams.
- Maintain project reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
- Support commissioning, testing, and final project handover.

Requirements

- 7+ years' experience delivering hyperscale or mission-critical data centre projects, ideally working client-side for a data centre owner, developer, operator, or hyperscaler.
- Proven experience managing General Contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Experience delivering projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.
- Strong understanding of construction management, programme delivery, commercial management, and health & safety.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
