ZENON Verified Italy Finance And Procurement Finance Manager Onsite Tempo pieno 2 days ago We are delighted to be supporting a well-established operator, air charter, and management service provider to source a Revenue Manager on a permanent basis based in the Mediterranean.
The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For Manage fare structures across relevant commercial systems, including fare loading, maintenance, and the timely implementation of fare-rule updates. Manage flight inventory, pricing and availability using the Sabre Revenue Management System to optimise revenue, yield, and load factor. Apply dynamic pricing strategies by analysing booking trends, demand patterns, competitor activity, and wider market conditions, adjusting fares and availability as required.
Produce daily sales flash reports in collaboration with the clients Finance dept. Prepare weekly commercial performance reports covering sales, forecasts, booking trends, and performance against budget and agreed targets. Maintain accurate passenger, revenue, and yield forecasts to support business planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Identify and recommend wider commercial actions to improve performance, including marketing campaigns, sales initiatives, promotional activity, and changes to distribution strategy. Manage corporate and contracted fare programmes, including pricing, eligibility requirements, implementation, and ongoing performance evaluation. Monitor changes to government taxes, airport and navigation charges, environmental levies, fuel costs, and other flight-related expenses, ensuring these are appropriately reflected in the pricing strategy to protect margins.
Contribute commercial insight and analysis to network reviews,
route evaluations, business planning, and budgeting activities. Take ownership of agreed revenue, yield, load factor, and wider commercial performance targets.
Minimum Skills And Experience
Previous experience in airline pricing or revenue management is strongly preferred. Applications may also be considered from candidates with relevant pricing and revenue management experience in related sectors, such as hospitality or car rental.
Experience using the Sabre Revenue Management System is highly desirable. Candidates without Sabre experience should demonstrate proficiency in another recognised revenue management platform, such as PROS, Air RM, Amadeus, Navitaire or an equivalent system. A good understanding of airline distribution channels, including global distribution systems (GDS), online travel agencies (OTAs), direct digital channels, corporate sales, general sales agents (GSAs) and other indirect channels.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, supported by advanced Microsoft Excel capability. Excellent commercial judgement, with the ability to balance revenue optimisation with customer, operational and wider business objectives.
Experience in forecasting, performance reporting and translating commercial data into clear, actionable recommendations.
