- Lead and coordinate cross-functional development teams across project activities
- Act as the technical reference point for the team, providing guidance and support on design and implementation decisions
- Define and validate technical solutions and application architectures
- Translate functional requirements into robust technical designs
- Monitor project progress, identifying risks, bottlenecks and deviations from plans
- Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, including clean code, security, performance and maintainability
- Supervise development, testing and release activities
- Support the resolution of complex technical issues and production incidents
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts and Architects to ensure successful project delivery
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, development standards and technical governance
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development using Java technologies
- Previous experience coordinating development teams or acting as a technical lead
- Proven experience delivering enterprise software projects
- Experience working in structured environments and customer-facing projects
- Experience in the insurance sector is considered a plus
- Strong knowledge of Java / JavaEE (Java 8 or higher)
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and REST API design
- Solid experience with SQL databases, complex query optimization and performance analysis
- Good knowledge of Angular (version 7+)
- Experience with DevOps concepts and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines)
- Experience using version control systems (Git)
- Ability to analyse functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions
