Play the carillon from a tower keyboard of batons and pedals, striking dozens of fixed bronze bells to perform recitals, arranging music for the instrument, and ringing for civic occasions at a landmark tower. The role includes maintaining the playing action, scheduling and promoting recital programs, and sometimes teaching visitors about the instrument. Advanced keyboard musicianship, arranging skill, and comfort climbing the tower daily are required.
