Role Description The Tecnici laser role is a full-time, on-site position based in Milan. In this role, the laser technician will install, configure, and maintain laser systems and related equipment for industrial, medical, and research applications. Day-to-day activities include performing diagnostics and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring equipment operates safely and in line with technical specifications.

The technician will support customers during commissioning and process optimization, document interventions, and collaborate with engineering and sales teams to translate technical requirements into practical solutions. The position involves occasional travel to customer sites,



adherence to safety standards, and continuous learning about new laser technologies and applications.

Qualifications

- Technical expertise in laser systems, optics, and photonics, including installation, calibration, and maintenance of laser equipment.
- Solid background in electronics, mechanics, or mechatronics, with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with industrial automation or laser processing applications (e.g., cutting, welding, marking) is highly beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing technical issues, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Comfort working on-site at customer facilities, with a focus on safety procedures and compliance with technical standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and international partners in a clear, professional manner.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize service requests, and keep accurate technical documentation and reports.
- Willingness to travel as needed within Italy and occasionally abroad, with a flexible and proactive approach to fieldwork.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree (e.g., electronics, optics, engineering) or equivalent practical experience in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of English and Italian for technical documentation and customer communication; additional languages are a plus.
