Job Info Job Identification 14957 Posting Date 03/20/2026, 09:53 AM Apply Before 05/31/2026, 12:00 AM We are currently seeking a Subcontracting and Estimating Engineer in INTERNSHIP , reporting directly to Section Head, to join our team based in our Rome offices, c/o Construction Department, Italy.
About the role: Preparation of cost estimate for construction subcontracting works, either during proposal/FEED or project phases, according to the specific proposal/project subcontracting strategy. Bid and Award of Subcontracts for the execution of Construction works. The role and tasks include the following main activities: Participates in the proposal or subcontract development process
- Collects bill of quantities
- Performs preparation, assembly and issuance of call for bid, addendums, and tender clarifications
- Performs and deliver the Construction Cost estimate and benchmarking of construction costs
- Ensures sourcing and qualification of bidders
- Performs preparation of Construction man-hours estimate
- Performs bid tabulation
- Implements the subcontracting management strategy of the project
- Performs negotiation and award the subcontracts
- About you: We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements: Graduated in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Energy, Chemical. Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English. What's next?
