ppThe Accounting Manager leads the organization's accounting operations, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial records while delivering timely, high-quality financial information to support business decisions. This role combines operational excellence with strong governance, driving efficient financial close processes, robust internal controls, and continuous improvement across the accounting function. /ppActing as a trusted business partner, the Accounting Manager collaborates closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure financial transparency, regulatory compliance, and sustainable business performance. /ppThe role is based in our HQ in Rome. /ph3Job responsibilities: /h3pbAccounting Operations Financial Close /b /pulliLead and oversee all accounting activities, including account payable, account receivable, inventory, intercompany, account reconciliations, journal entries, and period-end close. /liliEnsure the accurate and timely recognition of revenues, expenses, accruals, and provisions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. /liliDrive continuous improvement and automation of accounting processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and data quality. /liliEnsure the integrity of financial records through effective governance and process discipline. /li /ulpbFinancial Reporting Business Support /b /pulliProvide insightful financial analysis, variance reporting, and performance commentary to support executive decision-making. /liliPartner with FPA and business leaders in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. /liliSupport strategic initiatives by providing reliable financial data, projections, and business insights. /li /ulpbGovernance, Compliance Risk Management /b /pulliEnsure full compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies. /liliDesign, maintain, and continuously strengthen the internal control framework to safeguard company assets and ensure reporting accuracy.



/liliCoordinate internal and external audit activities, ensuring the timely resolution of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions. /li /ulpbLeadership Stakeholder Management /b /pulliLead, develop, and mentor the accounting team, fostering technical excellence, accountability, and professional growth. /liliPromote a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and high-performance execution. /liliContribute to the evolution of the finance function through process optimization, digitalization, and best-practice adoption. /li /ulh3Profile: /h3ulliMaster's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field /liliA minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar management position within an international group, preferably in luxury retail. /liliFluency in English and Italian /liliStrong analytical skills and attention to detail /liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills /liliStrong leadership skills and team management experience /li /ulpLVMH is committed to non-discrimination and respect of each person’s singularities. For new joiners for this role in Italy, the annual gross salary associated with this position is EUR 65.000. /ppThis is only the initial annual gross salary granted to this position. This figure has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria and reflects the starting salary normally applicable to the position at the time of publication of this job posting. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current organizational needs. /ppThis role is also eligible for bonuses, subject to Fendi's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
