Specialista Senior / Project Manager

As a Senior Software Engineer at ABB, you design and build cross-platform mobile applications using Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform, with a focus on performance and native UX. You will work within the Digital Agile Unit to deliver AI-assisted software for IoT, cloud, data management, and tools, while upholding secure development practices. You’ll lead architecture decisions, integrate with devices and cloud services, and drive robust CI/CD pipelines in a modern DevOps environment. This role blends software excellence, cybersecurity, and agile collaboration to deliver reliable, scalable digital products that support ABB’s energy and sustainability objectives. You will engage in

- Design cross-platform mobile apps with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform, ensuring native performance and UI fidelity
- Promote AI-assisted development and agentic engineering, with human-in-the-loop validation and security
- Optimize integration between software and IoT devices via protocols like Bluetooth LE and MQTT
- Collaborate in Scrum ceremonies with cross-functional teams (UX/UI, testing) to deliver Epics, Features, and User Stories




- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiplatform targets (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and automate UI/unit testing
- Uphold modern software architecture (MVVM/MVI, Clean Architecture) and DI (Koin/Dagger) with code reviews and static analysis
- Implement SDL-driven security measures, encryption, secure storage, and compliance
- Design and optimize local persistence (Room, SQLDelight) and cloud data management via REST/GraphQL APIs
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related technical field
- Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, and Compose Multiplatform experience for Android/iOS
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
- Understanding of modern Android/KMP architectures and DI frameworks (Koin)
- DevOps experience with Azure and CI/CD pipelines for mobile delivery
- Experience with REST/GraphQL, Ktor/Retrofit, and IoT protocols (BLE, MQTT)
- Cybersecurity knowledge aligned with SDL and secure data handling
