Job Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Service Now Technical Lead to join our team and play a critical role in leading the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of our Service Now platform supporting our GEO and LEO satellite services. In this position, you'll work closely with product managers, IT engineers, and process owners, contributing directly to our ongoing projects and initiatives. Your excellent communication skills enable you to engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and understanding of ITSM initiatives.
What You'll Do Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Service Now Platform, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals. Oversee the configuration and administration of Service Now platform, ensuring it meets the needs of the organization and supports effective service delivery. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Review business processes to leverage Service Now platform capabilities for improvement. Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to define and document ITSM policies, procedures, and workflows. Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines. Analyze service performance metrics and reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization. Act as a liaison between IT and business units, ensuring that ITSM initiatives align with business objectives and deliver value. Stay up‐to‐date with the latest ITSM trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend enhancements to improve service management capabilities.
What You'll Need MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience with workflows in key areas of the Service Now platform (e.g., ITSM, CSM, ITOM) and a solid understanding of their configuration and administration.
Service Now Application
Developer certification is a plus. Up‐to‐date knowledge of marketplace and technology changes pertinent to Service Now. Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices, with relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL v4, ITIL Expert) preferred.
Strong experience working with contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills, with a strong attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
