EU Sustainability Engineering team is looking for a Sr Electrical Engineer to scale programs within the wider Amazon electrification transformation.

Core initiatives are the electrification of last mile and middle mile fleet and the implementation of technologies to maximize energy efficiency of our buildings. This requires expanding one of the largest private charging networks in the world and defining innovative electrical design to enable smart grids strategy.

Location available for this role: Luxembourg, London, Munich, Milan.

Responsibilities
- Have full ownership of technologies’ standards for electrical equipment,



including development of standard design for core electrical equipment in partnership with manufacturers.
- Perform design validation to ensure that various teams respect electrical standards during installation of electrical equipment.
- Act as subject matter expert and support Field Engineering to prepare for the execution of installation on‑site.
- Align and set stakeholders’ expectations for the installation of the electrical infrastructure to serve the EV charging network and/or the smart grid.
- Work closely with stakeholders to drive technology roadmap for high voltage and low voltage electrical infrastructure, including EV chargers, HV/LV substations, energy efficiency and IoT technologies (e.g., smart meters).
- Write business cases and present them to leadership to get approval for the scoping of programs.
