A quick overview Work location: full remote or hybrid (possibility to work in our offices in Bologna, Milano) Experience: high seniority (5+ years of experience in the same role) Languages requested: English full professional + italian nice to have Compensation: €45,000–€65,000 gross/year, depending on your experience, technical expertise, and overall fit for the role. + In addition, you'll be eligible to participate in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) We not only apply cutting‐edge technology. Reliability is at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a new Backend Developer to join our team. As a member of the Cubbit team, you will help to design, develop and maintain performant and scalable products used by our business customers; you'll deep dive into challenging and exciting brainstorming and pair‐programming sessions with your teammates and, most importantly, you'll be part of the future of the cloud.
What you'll do Work on existing and new products by developing software, of course Review other teammates' code and constructively discuss about changes Transform technical requirements into tasks to be worked on Analyze application's tracing to spot bottlenecks and issues What you'll need 5+ years of experience in a backend development role Strong knowledge of Go (Golang)
programming Understanding of cloud services Experience with Git Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (sockets, APIs) Experience with AI‐based and agentic development tools Experience with Linux operating systems Experience with Distributed Systems Premio point Past experience in startup and/or similar industry Past experiences with network file systems (NFS/SMB) Past experience in remote working with agile methodology Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Kubernetes operator Familiarity with Grafana, Open Telemetry, application tracing Profile and mindset Solid spoken and written English communication skills.
