Food Quality Manager Career path toward Head of Quality within 2 years Industry sectors Agriculture & Food, Manufacturing & Production Technologies you'll work with Quality Assurance, English, Italian, SAP, Team Leadership Salary Range 38,000 - 48,000 EUR/year A fast-growing company in the sustainable food industry is seeking a Food Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance processes across two production facilities. You will ensure compliance with EU food safety regulations, manage HACCP protocols and lead continuous improvement initiatives. This role is central to delivering safe, sustainable and high-quality plant-based products to consumers across Europe.

Responsibilities Manage and continuously improve the HACCP system across all production lines Conduct internal audits and prepare for external certification audits (BRC, IFS)



Lead root cause analysis for quality incidents and implement corrective actions Train production staff on food safety and hygiene standards Liaise with suppliers on raw material specifications and incoming quality checks Report quality KPIs to senior management monthly Must-have Requirements Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field Minimum 3 years experience in food quality management in a production environment In-depth knowledge of HACCP, BRC/IFS standards and EU Regulation 852/2004 Internal auditor certification Fluent Italian and good English Nice-to-have Requirements Experience with plant-based or alternative protein products Knowledge of allergen management systems Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) Personal Requirements Detail-oriented with zero tolerance for quality shortcuts Strong leadership and ability to influence production teams Calm under pressure during audits and incidents Proactive mindset for continuous improvement Interested in this position?
