Situated in a prime location overlooking Via della Spiga, renowned for its luxury boutiques, and just a few steps from Via Montenapoleone, The Carlton Hotel is set to become the new landmark of the fashion district. **IN ROOM DINING MANAGER** **Main purpose**:
The In Room Dining Manager coordinates and supervises the In Room Dining team to ensure the best Guests’ experience. He/she cooperates with Restaurant team when required.
**Reports to**: F&B; Manager. **Main duties & responsibilities**: - Responsible for ensuring the happiness and satisfaction of guests. Ensure that policies and procedures are complied with our standard of service;
- Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of the hotel’s In Room Dining service;
- Be able to align with our philosophy of creating authentic and unique experiences for our Guests;
- Responsible for creating and implementing amenity programs, working closely with the Head Chef and the F&B; Manager.
- Able and willing to motivate the team to obtain guest satisfaction and perform at the high end of the market;
- Accomplish people development objectives through recruiting, training, coaching, counselling and supervising employees;
- Ensure all the Team Members are meeting all established standards of service through ongoing and recurrent training systems;
- Responsible for selection and development of direct reports and team members, monitoring performance and providing feedback; responsible for supporting direct reports in team selection, management and development.
- Responsible for leading the department in order to reach financial, quality and people objectives. Assure that all finance and department procedures are followed.
- Budget control, working closely with F&B; Manager;
- Support the Senior Management in handling all issues related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of hotel guests and employees. Responds swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines;

- Technically skilled: Demonstrates and understands job requirements and displays the technical skills and knowledge required to perform job well and in line with the departmental SOPs. **Other requirements**: - At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role in 5 stars hotels
- Fluent in Italian, English at a proficient level, a third language is preferred
- Valid HACCP certification;
- Knowledge of F&B; management software (e.g. Symphony, FutureLog), and Microsoft Office package.
- Passion for service, and ability to lead a result driven team of professionals;
- Previous experience as trainer is a plus;
- Flexibility;
