SSC Space Italy is seeking for its client's Payloads/Equipment Business Units a Payload/Equipment System Engineer Master’s degree in electronic engineering, Space Engineering, Physics, or equivalent qualification. ~ Verification control experience.
~5 years minimum system engineering experience, familiar with the various engineering domains (e.g., electronics, structures, etc.). ~ Fluent spoken and written English.Able to discuss with suppliers and customers in English. ~ Able to work autonomously following high level instructions. ~ Requirement breakdown and engineering at unit/subsystem level. Coordinate internal technical resources (electronic, mechanical, thermal, SW, etc.) Support the Procurement Manager to ensure that all procurements are completed on‑time, within scope and within the allocated budget. Support discussions with external suppliers.
Support reviews with customers. Support the Payload Engineering Manager with payload functional analyses and trade‑offs, interfaces definition and verification, analysis of the performances and design justification. Coordinate the requirement verification activities and the preparation of the verification control document.
