Responsibilities Promote implementation and ensure application of management policies and procedures relating to safety, security, environment and nautical on board the fleet and ensure adoption and use of related management programs. Propose updates and revisions to safety manuals and procedures to the Safety & Nautical Operations Manager. Ensure that training and information requirements are met for all personnel on board to ensure correct application of rules and procedures.

Carry out first‐level inspection visits to verify application of relevant procedures. Report any needs regarding safety, security, environment, deck and bridge instruments, equipment and systems, submitting them to the Safety & Nautical Operations Manager. Implement corrective actions identified by government visits, internal and external audits and ship inspections,



as required by company's non‐conformity management procedure.

Ensure that assigned vessels are correctly informed of any updated, new or repealed regulations regarding safety, security, environment and nautical matters.

Qualifications Qualification as First Officer and/or Engineer, or degree in Nautical and Aeronautical Sciences or Naval Engineering. At least 3 years of prior experience in a similar role. Good knowledge of English language (B2). Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
