BASF Catalysts Italia S.r.l is seeking a **Site Controller** to oversee financial performance and drive business success at our **Rome site**. In this key role, you’ll act as a strategic partner to site leadership — ensuring financial transparency, strong controls, and actionable insights that support growth and operational excellence. **What You’ll Do**: - Lead all **controlling, reporting, and planning** activities, including monthly closing, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Partner with site management to evaluate projects, identify efficiencies, and drive cost improvements.
- Oversee **tax and treasury** functions, ensuring compliance with Italian regulations and BASF standards.
- Manage **precious metal accounting and control**, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and process optimization.
- Maintain strong **internal controls** and compliance with corporate policies and IFRS.
- Champion **digitalization**, using data-driven tools to enhance reporting and decision-making. **What We’re Looking For**: - **Qualified Accountant (CNDCEC member)** with **3-5 years’ experience** in controlling, finance, or accounting.
- 3+ years experience of Italian VAT
- Strong knowledge of **IFRS** and proven ability to analyze complex financial data.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.
- Fluent in **Italian and English**.
