As a Junior System Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our local IT infrastructure across Italy. What you´ll do
- Operational responsibilities for the server and network local infrastructure running in Italy
- Support the infrastructure in the plants, capable of identifying, classifying, follow-up and resolving possible failures in the local IT/OT infrastructure, minimizing the impact on production.
- Manage changes of local infrastructure in collaboration with the Global/Regional IT organization to ensure service excellence, supporting local requirements and meeting customer expectations.
- Carry out all assigned roll‑out activities for new standard operations, set‑up, analysis, implementation, operation, re‑launch and decommissioning of technology components, merge and acquisition.
- Implement and ensure local compliance and security with corporate policies, standards and procedures.
What makes you a good fit
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, ICT Engineering, or related fields
- Knowledge of ITIL Processes and MS Office
- Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to foster relationships across all organizational levels
- Strong problem‑solving skills
