The Role As a Senior i OS Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our suite of i OS applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and fellow developers to bring new features to life and continuously optimize our apps. Your expertise in Swift and i OS development best practices will be instrumental in driving innovation and maintaining our position as a leader in the App Store.
This is a fully onsite position , based at our office in Lisbon, where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in person and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We are open to support with relocation efforts.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-quality i OS applications with a focus on performance and user experience. Take ownership of development processes, ensuring clean, maintainable, and scalable code. Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch new features.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and best practices in deployment. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers. Stay up to date with the latest i OS development trends and integrate relevant advancements into our apps.
Requirements Approximately 5+ years of professional experience in i OS development.
Proficiency in Swift and familiarity with Objective‐C . Strong understanding of i OS SDKs , UIKit , and Swift UI .
Experience with CI/CD pipelines , Gitflow , and automated testing . Strong problem‐solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Experience working in Agile (Kanban) environments. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams. What benefits do we offer? Apple hardware ecosystem for work.
