Role Overview

The Test Supervisor will support the Testing Manager in the delivery of all electrical testing, energisation, and system validation activities across a large‑scale data centre project. The successful candidate will coordinate daily testing activities, supervise Test Engineers, ensure testing is completed safely and efficiently, and maintain the highest standards of quality throughout the testing process.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Energisation Activities
- Supervise electrical dead testing, live testing, and energisation activities
- Coordinate daily testing activities in line with the project schedule
- Ensure testing is carried out in accordance with approved procedures and safety requirements
- Support energisation programmes and integrated systems testing activities
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues identified during testing

Team Supervision
- Lead and supervise Test Engineers and testing personnel




- Allocate daily work activities and ensure resources are effectively utilised
- Monitor productivity and quality of testing activities
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members

Documentation & Reporting
- Review completed test documentation and ensure accuracy of test records
- Assist in the preparation of test packs, reports, and handover documentation
- Track defects, non‑conformances, and outstanding actions through to closure
- Provide regular progress updates to the Testing Manager

Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with the Testing Manager, Commissioning Team, AP Team, contractors, and vendors
- Attend daily coordination meetings and testing reviews
- Support client witnessing activities where required
- Ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders

Health, Safety & Quality
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on site
- Ensure compliance with site safety rules, permit‑to‑work systems, and elect
