A veterinary specialty and emergency hospital is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian (DVM) to join its growing emergency and critical care team. About the Role

- Provide emergency and urgent care services for companion animals

- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical and surgical emergencies

- Collaborate with specialists and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care

Responsibilities

- Perform emergency examinations and patient assessments

- Develop and implement treatment plans

- Stabilize and manage critical care patients

- Perform emergency procedures and medical interventions

- Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results

- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

- Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment options and patient status





- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and hospital staff to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution

- Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure

- Emergency medicine experience preferred but not required

- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
