Hamilton Court FX, founded in 2011 in London, is one of the fastest-growing companies in its sector. In 2020, driven by strong growth in the UK, HCFX opened a new office in Milan, becoming the first licensed SIM to offer FX investment services in Italy. The Milan office includes two regulated entities: a “Società d’Intermediazione Mobiliare” (SIM) and an “Istituto di Pagamento” (IdP). HCFX Italy helps companies and financial institutions manage their FX exposure, enabling SMEs to trade globally by simplifying traditional procedures.
About the role
An FX Sales Trader plays a crucial role in the financial markets, particularly in the foreign exchange (FX) sector. This role is dynamic and requires a deep understanding of financial markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored FX solutions
- Monitoring and analyzing foreign exchange markets to provide clients with timely and relevant market insights
- Executing FX trades on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identifying and managing risks associated with FX trading activities, adhering to internal and external risk management policies
- Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the client base through proactive sales efforts
- Maintaining accurate records of all trading activities and preparing regular reports for clients and management
- Working closely with other departments, such as compliance, operations, and research, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Essential experience & skills
- +3 years of experience as FX Sales/Corporate Sales (B2B)
- Fluent Italian and good English speaker. Other languages are a plus
