On behalf of our team in Italy, we are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Operations Engineer to support the infrastructure and operational activities of aerospace‑related data processing systems. The ideal candidate combines strong hands‑on expertise in Linux and IT operations with the ability to leverage AI‑powered tools to improve operational efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, accelerate troubleshooting and support system analysis.
While previous experience in the space sector is not required, a proactive mindset, strong problem‑solving skills and familiarity with modern AI‑assisted operational workflows are highly valued.
Administer, monitor, and maintain Linux‑based production environments.
Build, deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker.
Support infrastructure configuration and automation using Ansible.
Manage, optimize and troubleshoot PostgreSQL databases (or equivalent RDBMS platforms).
Use AI‑assisted tools to accelerate system diagnostics, log analysis, incident investigation, root‑cause analysis, and operational documentation.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and AI‑supported operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
