or ONS Chemotherapy Certificate (renewed every 2 years)Experience and Skills - Technical Experience: NARole Specific Responsibilities - Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs - Establish a compassionate environment to provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patient and families - Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Provide in health teaching and counseling to promote, attain, and maintain the optimum health level of patients - Demonstrate ability to use clinical judgement in conjunction with critical thinking to recognize, act upon, and report changes in patient condition.
- Complete, accurate and timely documentation in patient medical record - Provide input into the development of policies and procedures to support patient safety and quality of care - Supervision and delegation responsibilities of licensed practical nurse and/or unlicensed assistant personnel - Serve as an advocate for the patient by communicating and collaborating with other health service professionals - Timely completion of required education, competencies, and licensure.
