As a result of this growth, we are looking for a Junior Financial Reporting & Consolidation Specialist, to join our Finance team based in Milan.
The role
The Junior Financial Reporting & Consolidation Specialist Intern will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our global automotive technology solutions, covering a wide range of finance and reporting tasks:
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and other applicable standards
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Participate in the reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances across multiple entities
- Contribute to the improvement of financial reporting systems, databases, and software to enhance reporting efficiency
- Assist with financial audits by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation
Our ideal Junior Financial Reporting & Consolidation Specialist Intern will have:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance,
or related field (or on the way to obtaining one)
- Good understanding of financial reporting, consolidation processes, and IFRS standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial reporting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Previous experience in a Big4 audit company is considered a plus
Work pattern and location
- 40 hours a week, internship agreement
- Monday to Friday
- Hybrid working pattern
- Office based in Milan
