Job Description
We are looking for an M&A; Manager to drive our strategic growth through acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestments. The successful candidate will join the Italian team, working closely with the Country MD and BU Directors, while reporting directly to the Executive M&A; Director based in the Group HQ in Crawley, UK.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a high-quality M&A; pipeline for all the Business Units and prepare robust business cases
- Conduct comprehensive market, sector, and competitor analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Build and maintain complex financial valuation models to assess value creation and potential deals
- Lead and coordinate the entire due diligence process, involving cross-functional experts across Italy and Europe
- Prepare high-quality investment proposals for formal approval by the Investment Committee
- Play an active role in deal structuring and the negotiation of LOIs, Term Sheets, and purchase contracts
- Ensure all commercial and financial objectives are accurately reflected in legal documentation and closing processes
- Perform post-acquisition reviews and manage follow-up activities, including warranty breaches and outstanding payments
Qualifications
Must Have
- 5+ years of M&A; experience within corporate environments, investment firms, or accountancy
- Degree in Business or Finance
- Italian and English professional proficiency (written and spoken)
- Proven expertise in financial modeling and business valuation systems
- Strong experience in managing the full M&A; lifecycle, from pipeline development to transaction closing
- Willingness to travel across the Italian and UK national territory
- Stakeholder Management, with ability to influence and align senior executives and cross-functional teams
- Team Leading experience
