Manager / Team Leader
As Business Development Manager in Traka Italy, you drive growth by identifying new customers and market opportunities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across ASSA ABLOY and report to the General Manager of Traka Italy, shaping the local growth strategy. You will lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, while tailoring solutions with engineering and service teams. This role places you at the heart of expanding our Italian footprint and delivering value to customers. - Proactively identify, engage and convert prospective customers to grow new business in Italy
- Build and manage a growing customer portfolio with upselling and expansion opportunities
- Lead end-to-end sales process: meetings, demos, needs assessments, design, quotes, negotiations, closure
- Collaborate with engineering, technical, service and field teams to deliver tailored solutions and projects
- Maintain accurate Salesforce pipeline, monitor market and competitor trends, represent at events and trade fairs
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales and business development
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Sales Management or related field
- Strong hunter mentality with a results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and cross-functional collaboration
- Native Italian and fluent English; strong technical affinity or quick to learn new technologies
- Experience in key management, intelligent asset management, access control, physical security, or related industries is a plus
