Electrical & Automation Project Engineer

We are looking for a Professional willing to join the Downstream Automation team. This division is responsible for the design and supply of electrical and automation systems for reheating furnaces and strip processing lines with a specific focus on ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysis of customer’s contractual specifications and elaboration of the basic technical project requirements.
- Preparation of electrical and automation basic engineering (single line diagrams, control network layouts, motors, sensors and instrument lists, I/O lists, equipment location drawings, basic electrical calculations, etc…).
- Preparation of purchasing technical specifications for electrical and automation equipment, software and engineering.
- Review of basic and detailed engineering submitted by electrical and automation suppliers.
- Coordination of internal and external resources during the engineering and manufacturing phase, in accordance with the Quality System, International Technical Standards and with all the contractual and internal technical requirements.
- Collaboration with project management and purchasing department in order to respect the scheduling and the contractual conditions.
- Assisting the construction and commissioning phase at site.
What we ask for
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of the most common soft tools (word processing, spreadsheet, mechanical and electrical CAD, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of PLC and automation network architecture.
- Interpersonal skills with good understanding of dynamic and challenging environments.
- Organizational capabilities, results orientation, problem solving complete the ideal candidate profile.
- Good knowledge of English written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel.

For the position, the starting gross annual salary will be from € 35.000, with the final offer determined based on the candidate’s seniority, experience, and skills, as well as the outcome of the selection process. Workplace: Genova
