Tomorrow can’t wait, let’s shape it together!** **British American Tobacco Italy**has an exciting opportunity for a Utilities Intern**in Trieste** This internship offers hands-on experience within the Engineering team, focusing on the maintenance, diagnostics, and optimization of electrical and industrial automation systems. The role includes exposure to troubleshooting activities, process improvement projects, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of production systems. The intern will also support the development of training materials and contribute to the documentation of systems and procedures. **Your key responsibilities will include**: - Assisting with the diagnosis and resolution of electrical and automation issues in production systems.
- Supporting the optimization of electrical systems by proposing solutions to enhance reliability, safety, and energy efficiency.
- Collaborating with engineers and technicians from different disciplines to manage and maintain automation systems effectively.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and technical interventions.
- Contributing to the preparation of training content on automation technologies and problem-solving methods. **What are we looking for?**
- Enrollment in a scientific or engineering-related university program.
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and industrial automation.
- Familiarity with data management tools and industrial software (e.g., MES, SCADA).
