Job Overview Line of Service: Cybersecurity & Privacy Management. Level: Senior Associate.
We are looking for a Penetration Tester to join the PwC Italy Ethical Hacking team. The role involves client‑facing projects related to Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, Mobile Security Assessment, Secure Code Review, Network Security Assessment, Red/Purple Teaming, and Security by Design.
Responsibilities
- Identify security vulnerabilities on web applications, infrastructure systems, network equipment, Wi‑Fi systems, mobile applications, APIs, etc.
- Conduct penetration test and red‑team activities from outside and/or within the customer’s network to gain unauthorized access to IT systems.
- Prepare technical and executive‑level reports and provide recommendations to a diverse audience.
- Support internal and customer development teams in defining, formalising, implementing and verifying security requirements following a “Security by Design” principle.
- Collaborate in the continuous evolution and improvement of test and reporting methodologies.




- Participate in periodic e‑learning sessions, both locally and across the PwC Network, on Ethical Hacking topics (e.G. Global CTF).

Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in a similar role (experience in a consulting company is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications preferred: OSCP, eJPT, GWAPT or equivalents.
- Proficiency in Italian (written and spoken) and English is an advantage.
- Strong teamwork, analytical thinking, communication, and ethical hacking skills.
