Reconstructing an accident means simulating it. We're looking for a Founding Simulation Engineer to build our 3D multibody and FEM simulation engine for accident reconstruction: the physics core that turns images and evidence into crash dynamics, for every kind of vehicle on the road. Your mission is simple to state and very hard to achieve:
make our simulations the most realistic ever seen in this industry.
What You'll Do
- Design and build our 3D multibody dynamics engine for vehicle motion, impact, and post-impact trajectories.
- Develop FEM models of structural deformation to link vehicle damage to impact energy, speed, and direction.
- Extend the engine to multiple vehicle classes: cars, motorcycles, trucks, bicycles, and pedestrians.
- Validate against real-world crash data (NHTSA, Euro NCAP, real claims from our platform) and iterate until the results are court-grade.
- Integrate the simulation core with our 3D reconstruction and AI pipeline, so scene geometry and damage estimates feed the physics directly.
- Work side by side with one of the top experts in car accident simulation, who will help you turn decades of domain knowledge into software.
- Optimize for speed: reconstructions must run in minutes on cloud infrastructure, not overnight on a workstat
