We are expanding our portfolio to include cutting-edge data centre development projects and are therefore seeking experienced data centre professionals.
Goodman is seeking an experienced Mechanical Package Manager (based in Milan) to join our expanding Data Centre project team. The ideal candidate will oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of critical mechanical systems including HVAC and cooling infrastructure. The Mechanical Package Manager ensure these systems are implemented correctly, meeting project specifications and industry standards to maintain optimal data centre operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- The Mechanical Package Manager has overall responsibility, for the management of all aspects of the mechanical package.
- This includes contractor design, procurement, contract governance, pre-construction, mobilisation, commercial aspects and delivery through to hand over with a defect free ambition.
- They are to lead a safety-first culture as a priority, in all aspects of the mechanical package management process whilst working close with the Project Lead. He/she must ensure that Goodman safety standards are applied in order to achieve the objective of zero accidents on our projects.
Design support:
- Review and comment on all design information in collaboration with the Goodman engineering team to ensure it is buildable, commissionable, and compliant with Goodman’s requirements and those of the end-user.
- Work with the Design Team and contractors to identify any design optimisation, and pre-fabrication opportunities.
