Your tasks
- You are responsible for PLC programming and visualisation tasks for paper processing machines.
- Your tasks include planning and installing our process control systems, industrial PCs and virtualisation servers. Furthermore you are supporting your colleagues in Hardware Planning.
- You are involved in the commissioning and optimisation of conversions and new machines.
- Your area of responsibility will be rounded off by carrying out services on customer systems, both on site and remotely.
Your profile
- You have successfully completed a technical degree specialising in automation technology, electrical engineering or computer engineering or have completed further training as a technician, for example in the field of mechatronics.
- You have a good knowledge of Siemens automation systems and the creation of control software and ideally have already gained several years of professional experience.
- A good command of English, both written and spoken, is required; knowledge of German is advantageous.
- On a personal level, you will have a very good grasp of things, a high level of process understanding, a structured working style and a high level of motivation.
- Occasional global business trips (approx. 25 %) are a welcome change for you.
