Job Description:
DXC Technology is looking for a Databricks Expert to autonomously manage the design, implementation and maintenance of data pipelines, acting as a direct point of reference for internal stakeholders on Databricks-based solutions.

Responsibilities
- Autonomously manage the design and implementation of data pipelines using Databricks, from requirements to delivery.
- Work with multiple data sources, including structured and unstructured data.
- Integrate Databricks with other tools and services (e.g., Azure, AWS, Tableau, and various databases).
- Manage data storage and lifecycle across Databricks workspaces.
- Diagnose and resolve issues within Databricks environments and workflows.
- Maintain direct relationship with internal stakeholders/teams for requirements gathering and solution validation.
- Contribute to maintaining data engineering methodologies and standards within the team.
- Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, processes, and workflows for internal use and compliance.

Requirement




- Professional experience using data analytics solutions based on Databricks.
- Knowledge of at least one of the following data integration services: Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Google DataPrep.
- Strong foundation in data engineering concepts, proficiency in programming (especially Python, Scala).
- Good understanding of cloud platforms (like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work with operational autonomy.

Nice to Have
- Databricks certification

Location: Milan, with lavoro da remoto possibility.

Offer Package

The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €38.000.

Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l'industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience and skills.
