Operations Team Lead (Sea Freight)

The company is an international freight forwarding company with a strong presence in sea freight, looking for an experienced Operations Team Lead to join our growing team in Genoa, Italy.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of daily operations, lead a small team, and contribute directly to the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the Sea Freight team.
- Manage import and export shipments while supporting the team operationally.
- Improve processes and drive operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.
- Build strong relationships with carriers, agents, and logistics partners.
- Monitor operational performance, costs, and service quality.
- Resolve operational issues and maintain high customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For
- Degree in Logistics,



Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, with a strong sea freight background.
- Hands-on leadership approach with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- FIATA, customs, or Lean/Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
