Position Overview: Kairos Accounting invites applications for a dedicated and ambitious Accountant Intern. This position is designed for students or recent graduates who are looking to gain real-world experience in the accounting field. As an intern at Kairos, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced accounting professionals, assisting with various financial tasks and gaining a comprehensive understanding of accounting practices in a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Financial Records: Help maintain and update financial records, including data entry and document management.
- Support in Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and statements under the guidance of senior accountants.
- Tax Preparation Assistance: Aid in gathering information and documents necessary for tax preparation.
- Reconciliation Tasks: Support in reconciling bank statements and transaction records.
- Client Interaction Support:
Assist in preparing documents and reports for client meetings and presentations.
- Administrative Duties: Perform general administrative duties as required, including filing, managing correspondence, and answering phones.
- Learning and Development: Participate in educational sessions and team meetings to better understand the accounting processes and business operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a team environment.
