Internship Description
For our Headquarters in Parma, we are now looking for talented students / new graduates to join our Central Distribution Planning team.
As a key player in the team, you will be provided with a real-world experience and you will have the opportunity to build expertise and be exposed to several competences.
Internship Purpose
During this internship, you will have the opportunity to support the Distribution Planning team in analyzing and optimizing stock levels, contributing to projects aimed at improving the efficiency of planning processes. In particular, you will collaborate on activities within the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) area, gaining insights into inventory management dynamics and the use of data to support Supply Chain decision-making.
Main activities
- Support the definition of the key drivers behind the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) coverage days calculation.
- Identify customer clusters based on similar characteristics and business needs.
- Analyze the replenishment logic managed by the planning system and its impact on stock
