Job Description
We are looking for a R&D; Engineer to work on Quantum Computing for Earth Observation (QC4EO) activities.
You would join our team of multidisciplinary consultants working closely with our customer, the European Space Agency, and often on site at their offices in Frascati, Italy. As a member of our service team, you will provide engineering support to Earth Observation (EO) downstream activities, primarily with a focus on Quantum Computing R&D; applied to EO (QC4EO) but also contribute to our Research Innovation Support activities, complementing them with your Quantum Computing know-how. You will support our customer in prototyping and demonstration of quantum computing and hybrid quantum/classical computing for EO applications. You will have the chance to supervise the development of EO cloud exploitation platform projects applied to Earth Observation and will be exposed to leading technologies in Earth Observation from Space, continuously developing and maintaining your own expertise.
