Advanced Manufacturing Technician Apprentices at Krauss Maffei are considered to be an integral part of our staff and are provided with tasks that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating.



Under the guidance of our manufacturing and technical staff, you could be assigned to projects related to supporting the assembly and testing of KM equipment for all divisions.

Essential Functions

This is an entry level position that supports our processes by performing the following:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and shop drawings

• Install and align A/C motors to gear boxes

• Installation of electrical cabinets to machines

• Assist in run-off, trouble-shooting, and adjusting machinery to insure machine meets customer specifications

• Looks for faulty components during the assembly process

• Tests assembled parts or products to ensure functionality

• Required to gather parts and to keep area neat and clean
